Class 2 - first week back

12 Apr 2024

Welcome back class 2,

It has been great hearing about your Easter activities this week and you have all settled back well within the class. We have had a busy week exploring fractions, traditional tales and learning about castles.

We have read and discussed Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Emperor’s New clothes and Chicken Licken as a class in our English lessons this week. Alongside this we looked at lots of other traditional tales and learnt about why they were written and why the stories are still read today. If you have any traditional tale books at home, please explore these with your adults and if you find any new ones feel free to bring them in to share with the class.

Hope you all have a restful weekend ready for more fractions, traditional tales and castles next week.

Mrs Field and Mr Scott
