Class One News Friday 6th November

 
This week we have been busy enjoying some Autumn artwork. We made Pumpkin pictures, which we decorated using a variety of different media - we used sponges to print, and added features using different shapes of paper. We also talked about Fireworks Night and made sparkly, glittery firework pictures, as well as chalk drawings and watched a firework display on the big screen.
 

 
 

 
 

 
 

 
On Thursday, we celebrated Bonfire Night with a special Bonfire lunch! The children enjoyed tucking into their yummy hot dogs!
 

 
 

 
 

 
We also started working learning about how Diwali is celebrated and made some clay Diva Lamps. We began thinking about Remembrance Sunday and printed some poppies. We will continue exploring how Diwali is celebrated next week.
