Friday French (5th March)

RHebblewhite - 01 Mar 2021

Friday French
Bonjour! C'est Madame Hebblewhite!

This week, we will focus on the topic of Family

Class 2
(Reception can have a go at joining in with the videos)

Here is the story of 'Goldilocks And The Three Bears' in French. Goldilocks in French is 'Boucle d'or' and bear in French is 'Ours' (sounds like oorrss). See if you can spot the words 'Maman' (Mummy) 'Papa' (Daddy) and 'Petit Ours' (little bear) in the story.

Here is a short video to learn the names of some family members.

Let's make a picture of your family that can stand up.
Write the names of our family members in French.
We still write their names in English,
as they don't change when we write in French.
(A bit like this one below).
