This week we have been learning about Chinese New Year . The children have acted out the story of how the years ( named after animals ) in the Chinese calendar came to be in the order they are in . This year is the year of the tiger !!
The children had fun making dragons , lanterns , playing with noodles and rice and writing Chinese characters.
The pretend area was transformed into a Chinese restaurant. Have a lovely weekend everyone!
