  Good morning Home School!

Morning work

Get your journals and mark your morning work from Wednesday. The answers are in the Homework area of the website. Use a pen or a coloured pencil.

Y1 Carefully cut out all your phonics sounds cards. Find all the cards that make the /oa/ sound. I found 3 but my friend found 4. How many did you find? Who is right?
When you played Word Sort in phonics play which spelling was the best bet for the /oa/ sound? Best bet means that there are more words with that spelling than any of the other choices. If you can't remember go back onto Phonicsplay, Phase 5 then scroll down and click on Investigating Alternative Spellings /oa/.

Can I
1) Write 2 sentences about animals that migrate or hibernate.
