Music, Art and True Colours

26 Jul 2022

Music Concert
Everyone in school took part in this years's music concert. We were all a little bit nervous but after you have performed it makes you feel really proud of your self.

Transition Day
It was fun making new friends and being with the children who are going to be in our class in Septemebr. We got to design our own amazing classroom!

Our School

We want on a geographical features hunt around school. Can you guess where we are and what we found?

Our very own Racing Driver

Miss Blake brought in all her trophies and medals that she has won this year. Then we all went outside to see her car!

Art
You need to look really carefully at size, shape, lines and shading to draw still life. We started off with charcoal drawings of leaves, then applied our skills and introduced colours while using pastels to draw sunflowers.

True Colours
We have been learning the song 'True Colours' to celebrate diversity. The staff room was turned into a recording studio and we were pop stars for the day!

Then on Wednesday we joined in with the colour run - even the teachers!
