Good morning!
I hope you had a good day yesterday, and that after making the bug houses we all ended the day with the same number of fingers we started off with.
Thank you very much to everyone who sent me their work yesterday, they were beautifully presented and not a single animal had been sellotaped to the paper. 
Lots of people said they couldn't find puddles yesterday so you must have had more sunshine than me, it rained nearly all day at my house. 
PE

Maths
It is sometimes nice to change things around a litle bit, and so for something a bit different for our maths today I have put some links for some maths games for you to try.
If you click on the links it should take you to the website, but as always on the internet it might be best to get a grown up to help you just to check you get to the right website.
First, can you go on Rockstar maths for about 15- mins and then do two soundchecks, please. After today I'll alter some of the tables for you too.

Next, could you see if you can log on to Sumdog please. We haven't tried this for a while so I'm hoping that all of the passwords and log-ins are ok. About 25 mins on this would be great.

We have done this one before in class, and it looks easy but gets tricky quite quickly. See how far you can get. (This website does need Flash player so check with your grown up first - if you can't get it to work though don't work.)

English
For our English today I would like you to work on your hand writing again to keep it lovely and neat. Like when we did this before, if you would like to make up your own piece of writing or find you own piece to copy then that is fine. Just remember to make it at least as long as the one we have below. Remember to make sure you think about keeping your letter sizes correct, and be careful with the joins. Don't forget that "p" and "j" drop though the line and only sit on it if they are capitals. As before, feel free to decorate it and send it to me because I love to see neat handwriting. 
After that could you do either one Reading Plus or 15 minutes on Wordshark, please, I'll let you choose.

For the rest of your English time can you make sure you have worked on your spellings and that you have done your half an hour of daily reading, please.
Afternoon activities.
If you haven't finished your bug hotels then please crack on with them, I bet they are looking amazing and I can't wait to see them!

If you play an instrument then click on ‘Play Your Instruments’ You will need to be able to play the notes G and A. Click on ‘Glockenspiel’ for the easiest part. If you play the violin or cello then use your G string and put one finger down on the G string to make A. (You won’t have time to jump to your A string!)
Otherwise click on the last activity ‘Perform the Song’
Have a go at singing the song all the way through. During the instrumental section (if you watch the bar at the bottom it is the green section) have a go at improvising a rhythm, just clap a rhythm and see if it works. You could use a sauce pan or bucket as a drum or a home made shaker.
After that you are all finished!
