Poppies and Fireworks

06 Nov 2020

This week we have been thinking about all of the important things that will be happening soon at this time of year.

With Miss Blake we have been talking about poppies and what they help us to remember and how important they are. We then made our own to put on display to show our thanks for all of those who have been involved in the wars and to remember the sacrifices that they made.

We have also been thinking about bonfire night and how exciting it will be! It is important to keep ourselves safe though and so we have made some posters to help us to remember how to follow the firework code and to make sure that we all stay safe when watching the amazing fireworks.

Remember to look after yourselves and your pets when you are enjoying your bonfire night, and I hope you have lots of fun (and save some bonfire toffee for me ;) ). I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you on Monday morning.
