Thinking about what it will be like back in school.

Today we are going to take some time to think about what it will be like back in school, and there will be chance for you to write down any questions that you might have about when we get back to school.

There are lots of activities for you to do below. Some are ones that you can make, some involve drawing and some involve writing. Each one has a set of instructions to follow when you open the link.

  -My Positivity Jar Activity Sheet.pdf-

-Thinking about when we go back to school.pdf-

-What Questions Do You Have about Returning to School.pdf-

We will try to answer some of these on your Teams calls, and we will talk about the questions again on Monday.

Friday French

This week we are going to focus on the topic of Family. Watch this short video, to learn the names of some family members. There are plenty of pauses where you can practise saying the words for yourselves,
so have a go!

https://video.link/w/IzIWb

Here is a fun French song about Family Members!
Watch out! You'll get this one stuck in your head!

Here is a link to a French Family Members wordsearch:

Make a family members pairs game.
Write the family member names in French on the cards.
Here are the spellings:

My Mummy (Ma Maman)
My Daddy (Mon Papa)
My Brother (Mon Frère)

My Sister (Ma Soeur)
My big Brother (Mon Grand frère)

My Big Sister (Ma Grande Soeur)
My LIttle Brother (Mon Petit Frère)

My Little Sister (Ma Petite Soeur)

and some other family members:

My Grandad (Mon Grand-père)

My Grandma (Ma Grand-Mère)
My Step-Mum (Ma Belle Mère)

My Step-Dad (Mon Beau Père)

To win a pair, match these couples: Mum and Dad, Brother and Sister, Grandma and Grandpa etc.. Below is a link to a template that you can use:

And finally....
Here is a link to an online game to practise the  colour words you learnt. Use the arrow keys on your laptop (or a finger on your ipad) to help the frog catch the flies. Answer the French questions to gain points.
