Hullaballoo

This week we had a real treat and we took part in the Great Big Book Hullabaloo organised by the Little Ripon Bookshop.

We watched a special video with Simon Farnaby (he has been in Horrible Histories and he also wrote Paddington 2) and he told us all about his new book, "The Wizard in my Shed" .



 

He talked about what it was like to write a book and gave us some great tips about how we could become authors too. He also answered some of the questions that we had written and sent to him - he thought our school had a cool name and that is sounded like a great place to send wizards to train!

The children had an amazing time listening to him reading some of his book and it really helped to bring it to life for us. We are reading this in class now and we can't wait to see what happens next!
