Journeys and adventures!

09 Jul 2021

This week we have been finishing off our guided reading book and drew maps to show the path the characters had taken along their journey.  We thought about the places the main character had been too and what they had experienced on the way, and how this had changed them over the course of the adventure. We really had to think about what had happened and include as much detail as we could. The pictures were amazing and we had everything from tigers to pretend pirates to talking elephants on our maps.  We loved drawing them and had a great time.

On Thursday we finished off our science topic and took part in an escape room challenge. The questions were hidden in random places around the classroom and the children had to find them and work out the answers to get the code to escape. Hopefully everyone will make it out for the big game this weekend!
