Christmas is coming...

08 Dec 2023

As part of our work on microorganisms, we've been investigating the conditions which enanble mould to grow best. We considered the variables such as the temperature, shape and size and cleanliness and each group chose one to focus on. We placed two pieces of bread in which only the one variable was changed and sealed into a food bag. We've monitored the results over time.

As you can see the results vary quite drastically. We'll continue our observation over the week and look forward (kind of) to the results.

Since being given the news that we're to hold the Christmas fayre next Wednesday, class 4 have been very busy with fun and ingenious ways to create games and stalls to run at the fayre. We've designed everything from scratch and have tried to take into account the money which will need spending and altered our ideas around profit.
Here we are working in our groups

One of the games designed is going to be called 'Brat Splat' - where we've taken some cheeky photos of ourselves to splat with a 'snowball'. So bring some money with you next week if you'd like a chance to splat a brat wink
