School Uniform

Our school follows the statutory guidance on the cost of school uniforms which includes making sure the school uniform is affordable and limiting the number of branded items. It is important to us that all children wear uniform as this gives them a sense of common identity, pride in their appearance and membership of our school community. Logo branded uniform can be purchased from the Ripon Uniform Shop. You can also purchase a book bag. There are many shops you can buy more generic school uniform from.

We do hold second-hand uniform sales as well to support families with the cost of buying new uniform. Details of these events will be communicated on our website and the school newsletter.

For safety reasons, no jewellery should be worn in school. If children have pierced ears, they should only wear a simple stud.

Please can children have a PE kit and trainers at school every day – they can be left in school and taken home as often as you wish.

For children in nursery/reception, It would be very useful for your child to have a spare pair of pants and a change of clothes, e.g. jogging bottoms and a t-shirt in case of accidents. Please can you ensure your children’s clothes, shoes and bags are named.

We ask that children wear smart black shoes or boots with their school uniform. In the winter, we may suggest children bring wellies or boots to wear outdoors.
