Let's wake ourselves up with some dance moves!
In Phonics today, Year 1 will be practising oo, ew and ue. Year 2 will be practising Phase 5 graphemes, there is a powerpoint to remind you of the sounds. You could then go onto phonics play to practise.

Revisit the story from yesterday, focusing on why the animals want to get on the train.
Can you think of any other animals that might want to get on the train? (Gorilla, Rhino, Whale, Spider) and give reasons why.
Draw the animal and use the sentence starter;
Please let me come with you on your train…
After lunch, you need to do half an hour reading please.
To do the activity this afternoon, you will need to collect some autumn leaves from the garden. Try and get leaves of different colours and shapes. Then you can create a picture with them. Here are some ideas to help you.
Please take a photo of it when you have finished and email it to school so we can share it with your friends.
