The 'Dig for Victory' campaign was set up during WWII by the British Ministry of Agriculture. Men and women across the country were encouraged to grow their own food in times of harsh rationing. It helped keep the country fed whilst the war was fought. Families started growing the root crops. Carrots, Beets, Parsnips, Turnips and Swedes. Can you create your own poster which would help persuade people to grom their own vegetables.
