We're now back up and running with our new website so it's great to be able to share with you all some of the exciting things we have been learning about over the last half term. The new class 3 are lots of fun and as always, full of energy and enthusiam for our topics. We've already been to several sporting fixtures: netball and football tournaments. We demonstrated some fine sportsmanship, sporting one another and lots of praise.

We've had so much fun learning all about the Tudors, about their battle for the throne and tumultuous times between the Catholics and Protestants as well as learning about the impact of the creation of the Church of England had on England and its people.

We also had our food DT week, where we investigated seasonal produce, planned our own recipe for pie making and finally produced our very own tasty pies

In English we've been writing letters, looking at the formality of personal and formal letters, writing differing accounts of a UFO sighting. We also ended the half term, with Halloween in mind, by writing some spooky, yet atmospheric stories and then telling them with hot chocolate and torches.

And finally, we of course have lots of fun in maths too, and here we are investigating fractions sizes to compare and find equivalents.
