Forest School Fun

Every Friday, Class 2 wrap up warm and go down to some of the fields near the school to attend their forest school sessions. When they get there, Mrs Longstaff has some amazing activities ready for them to do, and they get to try their hands at everything from shelter building to cooking on a campfire. Not only is it great fun, but it teaches the children lots about teamwork and working together. We even link in other curriculum subjects and so the children can improve their all-round knowledge too. Forest school is always a lovely way to end the week for the children, even if it does mean that they bring lots of muddy washing home - sorry grown-ups!
