Class 1 News

It was lovely to see the children after the holiday . This week we have been looking at maps of the school ground . Key stage 1 children labelled the features they could see and sorted them into physical and human features . The EYFS children explored our school grounds and created a map and model of the school . We talked about maps being an aerial view .

In maths we have been looking at different coins and counting out given amounts - tricky ! EYFS have been ordering numbers and saying where a given number fits on the numberline.

In English we have started a topic on poetry and will be performing some poems to our friends . Have a great weekend everyone !
