Class 1 News

This week class 1 have been learning about the different plants and trees in our school grounds and locality . They have learnt to look carefully , sort and record their findings . We compared the bark rubbings the children made and the different leaf types. We sorted wild and garden flowers and made detailed sketches . In RE EYFS talked about the bible story of David and Goliath and KS1 looked at the features of a mosque. In English we have started learning about Kennings poems and we wrote one as a class.
