Dodgeball Triumph!
On Tuesday Class 2 took part in a very exciting dodgeball tournament at Outwood school in Ripon. The children had been really looking forward to it and couldn't wait to get there.
Overall we played five games and at times the scores were extremely close with only a few points in it. With some excellent dodging and throwing skills on show, the children did very well and came in the top halves of their groups, which meant that they went forward to the playoffs.
After an amazing display the two Grewelthorpe teams came first and third out of the eight teams present which is an amazing result! We are all really proud of the determination and teamwork they showed, and they were wonderfully sporting too. Special thanks goes to Mrs M who came with us and helped her team to come first in the tournament (I think I might need to ask her for some coaching tips!).
