Constructing a Maya civilisation

We're now quite knowledgeable about the Maya - we've learnt about their Gods and how they lived their whole lives to please them. We've ben studying their cities in greater detail, looking at what remains and finding out what they were. Our task is now to recreate a civilisation, historically realistic but all out of Lego. The children need to research the types of buildings, look at their purpose and location within a Maya city and begin to add in detail.

They've of course responded with great enthusiasm. We'll continue our models into next week.
