P.E young leaders

Over the last 6 weeks children in Year 5 and 6 have been developing their leadership skills in anticipation of leading fun lunchtime games to KS1 children. They have learnt about the key roles and responsibilities of a leader and how to set up and lead small games and activities to others. They have developed their confidence when speaking in front of small groups and started to recognise how to adapt and change games depending upon the needs of the group they are leading. They finished their final session by practicing leading an activity to the children in Class 1, which they did fantastically well. We're looking forward to seeing how they get on at lunchtime over the rest of the term.

In other news, our fantastic art club have started to produce the stage background to our upcoming production. The songs are coming along nicely and our lines are almost there. We've just two more run thoughs and then it's showtime!

The production will be shown on Monday 29th at 2pm and 6pm. No booking required.
