PE in the sunshine

Once again the sun has (sort of) been shining and between the hail and the rain we've managed to get outside and to keep working on our tennis skills with Mr Whitford. The children have been improving their serving skills and learning how to get the ball over the net (they've also been getting it over the school fence a few times too so I'm sure there are now some tennis balls rolling around in the village!). They have loved the sessions though and we have some amazing players.
We have also been doing some work around the upcoming celebrations which mark the school being 150 years old. The children had to think what a school would be like in the future and describe it. They had some great ideas such as robot teachers and VR headsets to help their learning. Some of them also drew bedrooms so that the teachers could sleep at school overnight. At least it would make the commute easier!
