Sports Day 2025

Tuesday was one of the most exciting days of the year - Sports Day! The children had been training hard and working on their speed and skills with Mr Whitford in preperation for the big day, and luckily for us the weather was perfect too.

This year we split the afternoon into two parts, a teamwork event where the children had to all work together to help each other, and the traditional competitive races.

It was lovely to see how the whole school worked together and helped each other, and watching the older ones help the younger ones really showed how kind and caring our school is. It was also great how many children wanted to take part in the competitive events too and we saw some fantastic performances.

I'd like to say a big thank you to Mr Whitford who organised and ran the day, and also to all of the parents who cheered the children on. It can be quite scary when you're little seeing that many grown ups, but the children were so happy to see you there and they were really pleased to show you what they could do.

Have a great weekend.
