The Adventures of the Merry Children

The children have been working hard on their singing skills again with Mrs Longstaff this week, and they are sounding amazing! We have a really talented bunch of singers and I love seeing how much their confidence has grown too as they perform their songs to the rest of the class. They have also been working on some of the songs for the school play, but I promised Mr B not to give any spoilers away for the upcoming performance so I won't say too much about that; you'll have to wait and see on the night!

As the school play is based around the story of Robin Hood we have been looking at his adventures in our Guided Reading sessions too. The children had to use the clues in the text to draw what they think Robin's camp looked like, and we had some wonderful pics. I especially liked the pictures they did of Little John and Friar Tuck. :)
