Trip Leeds Art Gallery

Yesterday we all had a great time to visit Leeds Art Gallery; it was a welcome relief to be inside a cool building to spend the day.

We spent sometime admiring the different styles of art, from Victorian oil paintings, to a mixture of mediums to paint portraits, to modern sculpture and, well, lots of other 'art' pieces known as contemporary, which required lots of open-mindedness to interpret which was lots of fun.

It was a wonderful experience to get the chance to appreciate art. The children were very mature and took time to consider what they were looking at and what they could get from it, what they think the story behind the picture was and the way it was all put together.
