~ Art Day ~

Today was our time to experience a whole day with our local artist. She uses the natural world as inspiration for designs and artwork. She focuses on mark making and depth of tone to create wonderful pieces.

The children worked with care to use their own stimulus to create texture, depth and design into their own pieces. It was intricate work but they've produced some wonderful pieces.

And I don't know if you're aware but, we do happen to be putting on a production which is t̶a̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶o̶v̶e̶r̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶l̶i̶f̶e̶ lots of fun 😉 The children have really impressed me with their ability to learn lengthy parts and deliver them with natural expression.
