Class 1 News

This week in maths the EYFS children have been exploring doubles . They have made a display of doubles butterflies . KS1 children have been counting in 2s , 5s and 10s and looking at the relationships between them . As part of our world religion we have learnt about the Hindu spring festival of Holi and produced some fantastic art work which is up in the classroom . The EYFS children enjoyed the story Dear Zoo and each produced their own page which we have proudly displayed . They have also made some rainy day paintings and a class poem. In RE we have read a child friendly version of the Easter story and talked about the happy ending that is Easter Sunday . We have started practising some Easter songs ready for our Easter service in church . Happy Mothers' day for Sunday - I hope you all have a lovely day !
