It has been lovely to see the sun this week . Mrs Longstaff held another fantastic forest school session but in the sunshine rather than the rain !

In English the KS1 children have been writing in the form of a diary , practising writing in the first person.

In RE EYFS have looked at photographs of our village church and talked about the special features inside and outside . KS1 children have explored where Muslims feel they can see God (Allah ) and drawn pictures of some examples . In maths KS1 have been learning about telling the time including o'clock and half past. We have continued to learn about The Great Fire of London and in particular why the fire spread and how differently a fire would be dealt with today . Have a lovely weekend everyone !

This week both EYFS and KS1 have enjoyed forest school sessions with Mrs Longstaff. In maths the KS1 children have been counting in 5s to tell the time and the EYFS children have been looking further
