Class 1 News - Artweek

This week the children have explored watercolours. They experimemted with different techniques and used brushes and pipettes. The children looked at abstract art by Paul Klee , Kadinski and Emma Burleigh . They explored colour mixing and chose a technique for a final piece of art .

In maths the KS1 children have been counting equal groups of 2s, 3s and 5s. EYFS have looked at the principle of one more and how numbers 6 to 10 are 5 and a certain number more . Children have planned and written up their own adventure stories . It was great to welcome parents in on Thursday to share children's work . Have a lovely half term everyone .
