We've continued with our newspaper reports, and have been busy collecting research and quotes to ensure we've got all the facts and are accurate with our information. Here's a behind-the-scenes shot of our reporters at the press office.

We've also been developing our understanding of our local area and have been studying Ripon and older maps of the area to locate where the former rail station stood and the where the line went. Here we are adding the former railline to a modern-day map

After that, we looked at Ripon in more detail and learnt about how to use the OS map and what all the symbols meant. We then learnt about how to use co-ordinates to give a 4 or 6 figure grid reference.

Next week, we'll be heading out to Ripon Market Square to collect data on how people are using the city and on their opinions around a return to the railway in Ripon. If you haven't signed the consent for that, please would you do so. Have a nice weekend
