Good morning Class 1
This week we have been comparing lenths and heights. We have been trying to use the language longer , longest , shorter , shortest and have started ordering objects by lenth or size . Today at school we were going to order some of the things we do during the day . You could make some pictures of the things you do each day ( for example getting up , having breakfast , coming to school, playing , having lunch etc ...) Can you put the pictures in order ?
What do you do first ?
What is the second thing you do ?
What comes third ?
What is the last thing you do ?
Can you use some of these words when talking about your pictures and describing your day .

Can you go through all the sounds in your sound book ? Ask your grown up to help you make a collection or a few collections of things that start with the same sound.
You could make some cards, each with one of the following letters on,

How many words can you make by putting some of the letter cards together ?
Nursery
Can you sing some nursery rhymes ?
Go on a sound walk in your home and outside ? What different sounds can you hear ? Which sounds do you like best ?
It is a lovely sunny day . Perhaps you could go for a walk with your grown up and look for interesting things to bring home .You could arrange them on a tray or piece of paper or material to make a collage ! You could look for intersting leaves , sicks , pine cones , berries etc ..
