Pyramids

12 May 2023

For our topic work this week we have been looking at Egypt and thinking about how and why the pyramids were built. We had great fun looking at how the blocks were split and cut into shape and then placed together to make the buildings. The children then drew pictures of the different types of pyramids and how they changed and developed over time.

On Friday the children went on to looking at pyramids in maths too and had a go at making some with Mrs Field (although they were a bit smaller than the real life ones we had studied earlier in the week!).

Hope you have a lovely weekend and don't forget to get everything ready for our big trip!
