Y1 - Practice your number formation. Write the missing numbers using your whiteboard pen on the laminated sheet headed 'Write numbers to 20'. Remember to start on the dot.
Y2 - Log onto sumdog   and practice your mental maths for 10 minutes.

Can I correctly form the joined up letter 'i'.
Y1 - Practice the letter 'i' on the page in your handwriting booklet that says 'Tall ladder letters'. Remember that the letter 'i' is a short letter and should only go half way up. Why is it on the 'Tall ladder letters' page? I don't know!

Y2 - Practice the joining the letter 'i' and 'a' to other letters on the page in your handwriting booklet called 'Joining to ch'. Do the bottom 2 lines on the page - 'chill' and 'chat'.

Today you are going to start writing our fact sheets. You are just going to think about your first planning box - What is a desert?

Can I start writing my fact sheet from my planning?
Start on a new page in your home school. Write the date in the margin and the title is 'Deserts'. Remember to underline your title. Write one or more sentences about what a desert is.

Challenge: Use the subheading 'What is a desert?'
