Healthy Me

18 Jun 2021

How can we keep healthy?
We have been trying to decide which activities and foods are healthy. It was hard to decide for some of the items because we could think of reasons for both. We found out that sometimes it is about how much of an activity you do or a food that you eat that makes it healthy or not. It is fine to eat some chocolate but not lots of chocolate every day. It is always healthy to eat lots of vegetables.

To help us think about the different foods and activities we played "What is Healthy?"

We also sang a fun song called "If you're healthy and you know it"

Eat some fruit

Get some sleep

Walk to school

Wash your hands

Drink some water

Maths
We have been practicing and applying our knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to solve problems and think of our own stories to go with the calculations.

Oh so proud
Wow class 2! We were all very proud of your retellings of Hansel and Gretel. It was the most that everyone had ever written. Some of us changed the setting, some of us changed the characters and some of us changed the events in the story or had a different twist at the end.
